They are nice thing to have but I think everyone should go through their sshd_config files for understanding of what can be done to increase security

Facebook scans system libraries from their Android app user’s phone in the background and uploads them to their server

This is called "Global Library Collector" at Facebook, known as "GLC" in app’s code

It periodically uploads metadata of system libraries to the server

@Mayana
I also think that you are cool, this is after all social media platform, some debates would happen sooner or later :)

@hyde_stevenson Na androidu sa F-Droida se zove AntennaPod, na Ubuntu Poddr.

Linux unplugged mi je kul podcast, ali sam jos nov u tom svetu pa istrazujem

@Mayana As I said, people tend to get sensitive about stupid things online, I mean its fucking internet you can avoid all those very easily

@Mayana Yes, I also think its improving, but would you take adult person seriously in conversation further if he mocks you for being blind? I have black bacteria on root of my teeth, nothing contagious its just rare condition and looks ugly and if someone mocks me for my teeth I find that as I've won the argument. If someone wants to really hurt me by words there are other ways of doing that. And I've never been hurt by words on internet before, and I'm not the only one who feels like that.

@nikolal the word "glimpse" can be offensive to blind people. Oh no better fork that one too.

@mister_monster
That didn't cross my mind, now that I think of it Glimpse sounds like it might be offensive to vision disabled people when I think about what it means. Again, I'm not english speaker

@Mayana
Its now trend to find something that you can make of to be offended, its just how internet debates function in last 5 or 6 years, renaming brand names because of political corectness is not proffessional at all imho. 10 years ago noone would have an idea of renaming GIMP

@Mayana
Yes when you name it initialy. GIMP is established name in image editing community (for even maybe more than 20 years), that is where lies problem imo, you can't just change it because some native english speaker finds it offensive, program is used all around the world and it just brings confusion on people when they try to choose legit software or when someone tries to recommend them software. And who the fuck mocks disabled people, some kids when they are 10 y.o and never again?

@trwnh @blacklight447
More like I wont accept things I find wrong and you find right, lets just agree to disagree

@trwnh
It is stupid, and you didn't show me single way of it not being stupid
@blacklight447

@trwnh
You didn't make any good points. GIMP is well known software in image editing community as first alternative to Photoshop
@blacklight447

@trwnh
Most english speaking people, and thats just maybe
@alexa@fedi.absturztau.be

@trwnh
I don't think that even 1% of disabled people is offended by name GIMP aka GNU Image Manipulation Program
@blacklight447

@trwnh
For non english speaker GIMP is random word, and GIMP is used also used by many non english speakers that will only get confused with Glimpse

@trwnh
I don't believe that some internet brand name hurts people, not really. As I said, its just stupid and I'm sad about the trend "lets be offended by some random words on internet" that got us discussing about this in the first place.
