Silence is updated!!
When Signal dropped support for encrypting regular S/MMS it was forked to Silence.
It haven't been a release since March 2018.
Warms my heart…

It's official, blog.privacytools.io is live! I've imported a couple backdated posts for testing :)

In the (near) future we'll be posting more long-form articles/guides, news on privacy, etc.

We're also looking for guest bloggers! If you're interested definitely get in touch. We would also be open to "syndicating" (indieweb.org/POSSE) previously published articles if you're already a writer in the privacy space.

I see that media has been really up to date with Amazon rainforest fires. Trump tweets seem more important

Protests and government spying protestors in China are proof that we need uncensorable and secure tools for communication, people usually don't see real need for them until something like this happens.

"what is your cat's name?"
"That depends on which password you're trying to reset"

In "this movie" I thought about Once upon a time in Hollywood

Kinda but inglorius bastards has good linear story and all characters had some role to play in movie. I love tarantino but I wouldn't recommend this movie to die hard fans, its just too much different than his other movies

Once upon a time in Hollywood, thoughts

Kinda disappointed, I expected more. Scenes are good, acting is good but story doesn't make sence, and what the hell was role of Margot Robbie in movie? Is there some story that I need to know to enjoy the movie?

Purged everything, I will deal with it when I get in my hometown

@one@mstdn.io
I'll reset everything and see how that goes, probably missed something

This is what it looks like with ssh tunnel, I'm not physicaly where raspberry pi is

My sister can connect to local_ip_address/nextcloud in home. Ssh tunnel should make like I'm also at home and connect to local host. I have to investigate this further, problem is that I wont be home in a week or two

@jonah
I manage to successfully connect to Pi with ssh tunnel but when I type in browser when connected with ssh tunnel localhost:some_port_number/nextcloud I get "access denied". I can go to localhost:some_port_number/admin to get to PiHole admin console

@one@mstdn.io
Will do, but I think issue is different. With ssh tunneling I can access Nextcloud login on my other device to localhost:portnumber/nextcloud on remote raspberry pi as if I'm on same network as raspberry is, worked before completing installation with browser, when I set up username and password. I look into it when I get home, thanks for the advice anyway

@one@mstdn.io
I didn't. Shouldn't I connect to it anyway with ssh tunnel? I can get on my PiHole admin panel eitherway

I'm setting up Nextcloud on remote raspberry over ssh tunneling, and after finishing installation by entering username and password in browsers Nextcloud login I'm getting "Access denied" when trying to connect to it again over ssh tunnel. Something in Nextcloud config files not letting me in or I'm missing something crucial?

@Limax
Thanks for the info, just making sure that she doesn't end up paying some penalties
