I think you generalized too quickly that interaction, not everyone is borderline fascist or nazi which uses Fedilab app. I use it because its least buggy and runs smoothly, plus side that it leaves to users to block whatever they want since it doesn't limit users view of fediverse. I hate nazis and fascists, those reviews and replies are what keep project alive, am I wrong for using Fedilab?

Convinced my sister to install her Ubuntu, I did that by showing her that it can look similar to MacOS, and that she wont get viruses by visiting sites that force her to disable UBO to show their content

I don't, using common sense you can avoid a lot of threats online and there is fact that there are not many viruses made for Linux in comparison to other OS
