I don't know what is scarier, knowing that there is intelligent life or knowing that there isn't intelligent life beside ours in this seemingly infinite space

My dad is pretty stomped by 21. century, will educate him how to handle these things when I get home

Trying to call my dad from abroad on Signal but he doesn't know how to answer it, and calls me back with roaming :)

'Go to bed, you'll feel better in the morning' is the human version of 'Did you turn it off and turn it back on again?'

US residents:

So #GitLab Pages has finally rolled out their automatic #LetsEncrypt integration for hosted web sites. It's quite painless and automatically renews certs. So glad that I don't have to manually do this or maintain some brittle CI-based scripts anymore.

If you've got a GL-hosted site, take the next 90 seconds and go secure it!

I'm going to Greece tommorow on vacation, I will eat some gyros and drink ouzo in your name
@Wetrix

@greyor @Wetrix Book is science of cosmos more or less interpreted for reading to us mortals. But as I remember there is that part of text which states that. Proof of God would be by Hawking that for every event in nature we (humans) would be able to figure out its behaviour and write some equations that explain those events. Proof of absence of God is negative of previous. I'm raised orthodox christian but I think that religion twisted real values that we should follow as humans
