Type run_keybase in cli to restart it. Its maybe stuck on previous connection
@m10q
Not really needed, but worth considering
@kravietz
Wazuh looks neat

Quite good hardening would be /etc/hosts.allow file set only to specific IP adresses that I use. I have one question though, is it possible for me to access my remote apache server with ssh tunneling? Or can any attacker access my apache server with http if he knows my IP address, since router points to my raspberry server?

This seems good, but difficult to setup on first glance. I will try it when I have more time, for now pubkey auth will do the trick

Seems like it, although I edited everything I need in sshd for additional options such as number of attempts, timeout etc. Fail2ban might be usefull for apache server, thanks for suggestion.

@ben_dw
When you register to new instance you get whole new account, even if your username appears same (it isn't, now it's @ben_dw and your previous is @ben_dw ) its technicaly brand new, and it doesn't data about your previous toots. If you want to see your old toots you have to follow your old account, since there isn't import option as @jonah mentioned.

Its client is open source, server side isn't. Privacy policy is clear on what is done with data: https://keybase.io/docs/privacypolicy
Imo they are good for keeping not so sensitive data if your main purpose is storage. Main purpose of service is public proofs of identites and thats why I think they are useful. Lesser known fact is that you can host static site on Keybase public folder, one more neat feature.
@ben_dw
You mean you can't see your old posts in your feed on this instance, or you can't see old posts when you go to your old profile account?

The new keybase.openpgp.org has a pretty good usage instructions for Enigmail, OpenKeychain, GnuPG etc https://keys.openpgp.org/about/usage #pgp #security
@kravietz
Yes I know, Keybase seems like next evolutionary step into verifiable identities which includes gpg keys, don't know why devs don't use it in larger scale. I guess there is that gpg ecosystem you are talking about.
@kravietz
Publishing keys to keyserver seemed like bad idea anyway, there are better ways of publishing your public keys or signatures. Thats one of the reasons Keybase exists.

Not everyone realizes the media oligopoly also works in team with a rarely seen companion: the mobile operators. Everything in Google and FB platforms encourages bulky downloads. This is one of the features I love most in F-Droid: being able to quickly transfer all of your apps to another devices without using even a byte of mobile data. You can transfer apps over LAN WiFi, Bluetooth or SD cards. https://f-droid.org/en/2019/06/20/two-new-ways-to-get-apps-nearby-without-internet.html
