My understanding of people making bots outside bot domains is that they are unaware of their existence, or they are just being rude. They are pretty delusional if they think that their bot tooting every 5 minutes is useful or funny. Now that I think of it, that might be the real case, I've seen some delusional toots from people before.

I also prefer RSS. You can block whole domain botsin.space from Fedilab app if you didn't know. But there are also bots from other domains where humans are, which is a bother.
