If Signal would add 8 hours option for "mute notifications" that would be great, I need that "shut up until morning" power.

The thing is that I want to hear when my gf texts me that she arrived to work, she needs 2h drive to it, (this is only once a week). Can I disable all notifications but that one from Signal?

Oh well, nevermind. Its just that one group that needs muting. Also I like to keep my private chats sound and telephone sound on in case if someone needs me in the middle of night, like grandpa or brother with kidney stones
@nikolal if you're on Android, I think you can whitelist notifications from starred contacts. I have setup it up so it's definitely possible.

It can, but I like to keep sound on for private chats in case someone needs me in the middle of the night.
@nikolal on iOS only the next call within 3 minutes is supported by sound.

@nikolal as far as I know only plain GSM calls.
@nikolal I believe both Android and iOS have do not disturb.
