I recommend some setup when you backup when you want to, not over some automated process. If process is automated encrypted backup will take place instead of unencrypted by ransomware.
Well currently I create a snapshot of my data and a backup of my config and my instance using nextcloudpi and then I transfer the backups via SSH to my other server . It works but I'm not sure this is the best solution . The server is only on when I want to backup my nextcloud .
So technically I have nothing automated .
Also I currently don't have a remote server either both are local in my home.
