@nikolal Oh, in such case you should try Dostoyevski ("Idiot" is my favourite) and "Master and Margarita" (Bulhakov). The latter has a very good series filmed in 2000's. From modern prose "Day of the oprychnik" (Sorokin - dystopia) and "Metro 2033" (Glukhovsky - sci-fi)

I've read "Idiot" and "Master and Margharita", that one was weird experience. My favorite from Dostoyevsky is "Notes from underground" and "Crime and punishment". I'll make a list of your recommendations
