Barcelona and catalonia
Yesterday's riots were the biggest riots that the city has experienced probably since 1936. There were thousands and thousands of people in Plaça Urquinaona, resisting the smoke, tear gas (that was thrown from the top of the buildings) and all the rubber ball shoots (that come from the Policia Nacional, the spanish police [because these were banned from being used by the Mossos, the catalan police, since they bounce and end in people's eyes (and they lose them)]. Only yesterday 6 people lost they're eyes. This is something huge, people are fed up with all the "Procés" politicians inability. They made the referendum and no one is taking the results and applying them. This last two years the goverment has done nothing about it. And people are fed up. They're mostly young people (16-25), people who also doesn't have lots of future expectations.
