I wonder why people build wooden houses in areas that have high probability of tornado in America? I know its cheaper but brick house with some concrete walling could withstand very strong tornadoes, only roof would be needed to repair

They think "cheaper now, hope that tornado doesn't happen". At least thats what I think they think. Its "I hope it pasess me" mentality
