I wonder why people build wooden houses in areas that have high probability of tornado in America? I know its cheaper but brick house with some concrete walling could withstand very strong tornadoes, only roof would be needed to repair

Its cheaper, but is it really when you have to rebuild your house from the ground?
@nikolal sure that's the same people who will go to #ikea instead of buying a proper wardrobe. When you have less money it's always better to invest for things that will last longer :)
