Fishy atleast. You can do all what this device can do with raspberry pi, adblocker, VPN and much more for price less than 60$ and with open source software.

@nikolal how are your computer skills? Mine are okay but limited to my physical abilities. I also ran across this device while on instagram and was wondering if you or anyone else on mastodon would have an interest in discussing a how to:
The goal of this project should be less than or equal to $60 to $70 dollars total exclude the external hard drive because as the product requires the customer to supply their own hard drive.
Maybe this could be called a social privacy tools iCloud challenge

companies offer you for 250+ dollars. What I lack here are some VPN guides but I haven't done them myself (yet). For that I recommend Wireguard, you can search for it, it has nice documentation you can use @FluhartyML
