How secure is it to run #UBports on a device such as the #oneplus one if proprietary vendor is not updated since such a long time and will not be any more? Is it really a good option? @ubports

Not recommended, yet. I tried Ubuntu Touch on my Nexus 5 and it wasn't smooth experience. Its promising project, but still under developed and it just needs more time and funding if you want it to become your daily OS for phone. Support them if you can, but don't expect too much if you decide to boot it on your phone.

Yes, I'm not talking about usability, but about having obsolete and insecure firmware due to proprietary vendor

@kankuman
Oh well, don't know for your device, my guess is that it should be just fine but don't take me on that, wait for someone official for responce
