@Divert Except that bitcoin database, the blockchain, show anyone what you do with your money. Its NSA dream come true. I rather use dollars and wait for a cryptocurrency with privacy gets maintream

Its pseudonymus, everyone can see addresess but not real names attached to them. Also, there are currencies that hide even addresses, like Monero or ZCash.

@nikolal @Divert pseudonyms plus all the other information in the transaction can identify someone easily, specially with government level resources. Monero or ZCash could be the answer, but in my opinion, too soon to tell.

Too soon, yes, after all this is still "young" technology. Either way its better solution for sending/recieving money than cash or credit cards (once scalability issue is solved), good side outweights the bad one imo. And bad side still can be fixed.
