Hey folks, I'm looking for an alternative server to the official matrix.org one. It's not easy to find a reliable matrix server honestly. Also I'd like it to have support to some bridges like IRC and Telegram maybe.
I'd like something that is not runned by a single individual or as a weekend project, but more like a community effort to which I might even contribute with some donations in case.
Can you help me getting oriented?

Yes, you can check on their website ways to donate. They also run more services
@nikolal Cool, I'm reading now. They're not even under Cloudfare which is the reason of the downtime today. Also better for privacy, obvsly.

They are probably using one of https://www.opennic.org/
DNS resolvers, which is also cool.
@nikolal yeah that's the first on my list actually :) I'm a long time lurker of their reddit page. I've seen that they already have something like 700 users on their matrix server so it should have a good infrastructure. Is it founded with donations?
