@canony As I said, Signal works with number you registered your phone with. That means that you can use your first sim card to register your phone with, and insert other sim card without registering Signal with it. Signal will use phone number of your old sim card for IM (not SMS) and you can use your new sim card for calls, sms etc. Would that solve your problem? No need to tell your friends your new phone number.
