Lots to think about here. I understand some ways my housing choices and other actions can increase equality. But I don't understand what "giving up ... higher salaries" means. I work to recognize my privilege, like access to computing at a young age, and try to use it to benefit democracy, equality, and justice. It seems to me the right targets are consumption culture and accumulated power. Break those down and everyone everyone benefits.
