1x1 of what #webdev's should not do, but even Steam does it: UA sniffing.

They block #Firefox. (actually only allow #Chrome/#Chromium) For no reason.

If you try to reproduce it, it works, because Firefox shipped with a crazy workaround and spoofs the #UA. See github.com/webcompat/web-bugs/.

Anyway, that this steps have to be taken tells how bad a #browser #monopoly is. #Steam is only one incident.
Look at about:compat to see more workarounds.

Boxed wine is one thing, but drinking it with an attached plastic punch straw really makes me feel in control of my life.

@yogthos @mewmew If that’s what you came up with when you last checked, you might want to check again. Communism and it’s friends hundred odd million victims would like a word with you. Yeltsin didn’t have his faith in communism utterly destroyed on the battlefield or even by Wall St. All it took was a visit to an American grocery store. Is Capitalism the best system that ever will be? Probably not. Is it better than anything anyone has come up with so far? Yes. This is history’s verdict on the matter. Have a good day

Well happy thanks giving to all the Americans out there. Hope you had a good one. 😁🦃🦃🦃

Mozilla's "*privacy not included" page is honestly quite useless to me.

It seems like everything passes their "this product meets our minimum security standards".

PS4 for example. Everything passes yet PlayStation can view your unencrypted messages at anytime. That doesn't sound very PRIVATE to me.

The new Tesla Cybertruck looks like a Delorian fucked a tank and gave birth to a Cylon.

YouTube2PeerTube now supports fetching languages from YT, Peertube categories and tags! This was a much needed improvement, as tags are important for indexing.

I have some more big improvements coming soon! To those of you that use it, it will work much better in the near future.

In the next release, you will be able to get information concerning the instance of the visited account by clicking on the software name.
