@kambing what's wrong with having a good life?
@astheroth that's easy, but it might not be very accurate if there are followers only/not public comments in a thread, missing comments from unfederated servers, etc. It would not be as reliable as one on twitter.
@fribbledom its because there is a vowel (specifically in the middle) and so the latter is easily pronounceable on its own whereas the former is not. Its the same reason we spell out FBI but not FAFSA.

@rufposten there could be plenty more detail in this, I prefer to apply Hanlon's razor where possible but I have a feeling the lack of detail is intentional.
@rufposten saw this yesterday, this graphic is utterly useless. Some country could have 50.0000001% Chrome use and still be bright green. It doesn't articulate whether Chrome forks such as Bromite or Ungoogled Chromium are included under the "Chrome" umbrella or not. Eritrea could have 49.999% Chrome use and be considered "free" using this infographic. It doesn't really tell you anything of value.
@phoenix what is it? Tell me more.

@dielan salt the earth, problem solved.
@nikolal I don't know.
Updated my Linux Mint desktop installation and it fell to pieces. Fuck Debian. Fuck Ubuntu. Fuck Mint.
Fuck it. Wiped the thing. Installed Manjaro. That feeling you get when you first move from Windows to Linux? That's thee feeling you get when you switch from a "user friendly" desktop distro to an Arch based distro. The shit is fucking magical. Arch FTW.

I do not recognize anyone’s right to one minute of my life. Nor to any part of my energy. Nor to any achievement of mine. No matter who makes the claim, how large their number or how great their need.
