Lol I feel like this is the beginning of the end of movie theaters. One film has demonstrated that it does not need them as gatekeepers and this smart individual has decided to accelerate the process and tank his company. Theaters will become what they should've been all along: a place where people go because they feel like it.

@gcrkrause oh you're running a mirror for some channels? That's great. I wish there were some tool that enabled people to see what and where channels are mirrored, that's a broader discoverability problem for PeerTube though. I thought about hosting something but that would be complex and centralized.

@MrNarrow @Wetrix if it is their content then aren't they due royalties already? I don't think that is what this is, I think Australia is protecting their existing media industry by forcing Google to share revenue since they are losing market share.
