@georgia@dickkickextremist.xyz at least you got your money back lol. Follow the steps! TWRP has gotten a little buggy here and there the last couple of years and I'm not a huge fan of it but it is OK. I just don't like the possibility that my backup will not work.

@georgia@dickkickextremist.xyz I have never bricked something. Had a couple of bootloops and had problems with TWRP and backups being broken and what not. I miss CWM recovery.

@georgia@dickkickextremist.xyz actually lol I think I have used it actually, I think I'm using it right now haha I'm dumb, I vaguely recall flashing a kernel with Wireguard support but I've done so much there's no telling if thats some distant memory.

@georgia@dickkickextremist.xyz yeah I know about it. Supports every phone Lineage supports officially. I haven't used it yet.

I like to use kernels patched for Wireguard and a couple other things so I usually find an unofficial build that has that patched already, I'd rather do that than patch a kernel module or find a kernel and have trouble with something else.

@georgia@dickkickextremist.xyz I've used omni once many years ago and it was not as stable as I like. Feature rich, not geared towards google freeness as Lineage.

Honestly if you're going the MicroG route you're going to have to find an unofficial build anyway. I've almost always used unofficial LineageOS the past few years and never had a problem.

@georgia@dickkickextremist.xyz man fuck the oneplus 8. Get you a refurbished 6t and call it a day. They're just a Samsung knockoff at this point anyway. I'm still using a 3t and have no reason to upgrade. I'm very disappointed in the direction they've gone.

Why am I unable to fetch media from social.privacytools.io with third party client applications? This is so strange, I cannot fetch any media at all through this account, not even my own avatar.
