An absolutely excellent talk for people interested in thinking about engineering anything requiring consensus in software. I love these videos but this particular one is very insightful.

@garbados lol have you heard of Starlink? The free market is delivering an entirely new hardware network in a fraction of the time the existing one has been around. Also, do you even have any grasp on the scale of a project to build a second hardware internet? And the logistics and diminishing return of utility that would have? Do you think a bunch of bureaucrats could build something like that better than self interested, motivated individuals?
So apparently nobody thinks it is funny to troll a south american socialist dictator on the internet. That's too bad.
