Yeah he's definitely got support, but not enough. He's got a small group of rabid fans, unfortunately a lot of people find some of what he says unpalatable. There are still people that did nuclear strike drills in the 70s and 80s in elementary school voting and he calls himself a socialist.

I have not seen this problem, Wireguard is supposed to work perfectly when switching networks. I would guess it is something unusual with the server config?
