@Luxotek
I blocked that bot the minute it followed me. I do not have in my description, to me it is like Do Not Track (it is useless). I cannot see a reason why this bot exists other than to help piece together the fedi social graph for some entity and I do not want to contribute to that.

@dielan
Firing someone is not that bad when they can't hack it. You assemble a team to do a job, and sometimes you misjudge someone and they aren't quite what you thought they were. Really, needing to fire someone is a failure on your part for hiring them. Being unable to do it is to be unable to correct your own mistakes and grow.

Take the position if you think you'll be happy leading a team.

@kick
MacOS only... Also it's all multi window style like Gimp, Sublime is more of a multiplatform clone of Notepad++.

@georgia
No good ones. I use Atom for code but I use Sublime for everything else. I would love a good FOSS text editor (not IDE) that was modular and functional like Sublime Text.

@georgia
What's your score? I know all I have is some codecs and Sublime Text, because Sublime Text is super awesome and I haven't found a FOSS text editor as useful.

#ForgeFed update! 😀

We're planning to implement in both #Pagure and #Gitea. Still waiting to finalize funding details with NLNet.

Implementation of author-hosted tickets in Vervis is in progress, and so is OAuth2. Next will come patches/MRs, and then we can finally release that Draft 1 along with a demo.

We're looking into making better docs, maybe a talk too. Would you prefer to read, or to see/hear me explaining? 😋

I don't think many people know about this but you can anonymize your DNS requests if you own some linux server with shell access. Steps to take:
1) Install Wireguard on your server
2) Install dnscrypt-proxy
3) Configure dnscrypt-proxy to use anonymized DNS in .toml file
4) Profit

You can also install PiHole for adblocking and configure it to use dnscrypt-proxy. You can connect then with Wireguard and have VPN+anon DNS+ adblocker.

Links in next toot.

@astheroth
That book is amazing, it changed my life, 1000 pages though damn.

@georgia@dickkickextremist.xyz
People actually watch those? Lol

@dwc
There was prismo.xyz, both Lemmy and Littr.me have ActivityPub implementation ad a main focus.

You're thinking of notabug.io but that's not fediverse related at all.

@glitcher32
Yeah I checked out Session (based on your earlier share about it actually) and it looks alright, didn't look too deep into it but today I came across some interesting criticism I evolving an ICO and other things. I'm more of a matrix guy myself but always on the lookout for more messaging platforms so that I have flexibility.

@glitcher32
So apparently Session is a fork of Signal with some blockchain stuff or other built in?
