@JoYo Prismo? yeah it is still a thing, they have had a lot of trouble. It is specifically different in that it is topic oriented, more like hackernews or really old reddit before subreddits.

@resist1984 There is a pretty interesting Fediverse focused link aggregator, designed around communities like Reddit is, called Lemmy. github.com/dessalines/lemmy dev.lemmy.ml/ not federated as of yet but works great.

@JapanAnon If it fits your needs, go ahead, it is licensed AGPL so it is technically yours if you use it. I can offer any insight you might need.

@JapanAnon I am glad you do, we all have to do our part to help kill the beast. Spread it far and wide, I would love for lots of people to use this tool to mirror as many YT channels as possible. If you don't care about locally archiving videos there is an option to directly mirror without download and upload using Peertube's HTTP/magnet API. I will be leaving functionality for download/upload and direct mirror in case YT blocks Peertube instances like they are doing with Invidious.

@JapanAnon The audio quality is better. Too much low pitch, but that's probably because I'm used to the old voice.

Why the switch to a hardware scrambler? Is there some security related reason?

@fedilab
I actually create my own custom timeline for following Peertube channels and instances and that sort of thing, I never have used those defaults. I'd say it would be nice if I could modify their contents myself.

I fixed the issue with the custom emoji picker and also crashes with conversations on Android 4.
I should release the new version at the end of the week with the peertube sign-up and the customization of colors in timelines.
And surely with some other bug fixes.
