@tootapp
You can't equate your own ideology with *the* moral argument. "That is what any decent person would do." Tossing a blanket statement of "hatred" on top of anything you disagree with and then taking a morally superior stance is not morally superior or intellectually honest.
You can make whatever tools you want how you want. But you don't decide who uses them.

@tootapp
Based on the GPL, yes, it is the property of the user.
@astheroth
@tootapp
Free software means the tool belongs to the user. You can oppose whatever you want. But if you build a tool you don't get to decide who gets to use it.
If you think your ideology is more important that freedom for people you're the closest thing to a fascist here.
@louwestin@fosstodon.org @astheroth @fdroidorg
@tootapp
Yeah and that political statement is "we are diametrically opposed to authoritarians who want to tell people how to use their property" you're on the wrong side of this one way or another.
@astheroth
@lain
My personal favorite is "anarcho-socialism" like, how are you going to enforce all those rules about who owns what without a state? Someone who starts talking about it immediately outs themselves as dumb or ignorant of their own positions.
@nikolal
No I have not. I'll give it a listen though.
@glitcher32 Looks like a cloud service for Android more than an OS.
@Nikolai_Kingsley @jonah
Yeah definitely more balanced
@Nikolai_Kingsley
That article sounds overblown. I dont know who they are, but that article seems like scaremongering. Do you have an article that explains who they are without the nonsense rhetoric?
@jonah
@nikolal
I'm gld you like it.
@Vortax Peertube i use peertube.live and it seems to have the most instances federated with it (that currently accept registration). I like it so far.
New Elder EP "Gold & Silver Sessions" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayCcCD_OrNM
so far so good.
@glitcher32 Actually apparently TAILS does not have an ARM compiled version for the raspberry pi, sorry for the misleading info. I thought i had run it before but apparently i was mistaken. Looks like raspbian is going to be your best bet.
@glitcher32
Tails is a debian based distro light enough to boot off a USB stick, it should run fine.
@glitcher32
NOOBS last i messed with it was just a user friendly installer for Raspbian. I have not installed Qubes on a Pi, but if your goal is security it is an excellent choice. If you have installed Linux distros on a Pi before you should have no problems installing it.

I do not recognize anyone’s right to one minute of my life. Nor to any part of my energy. Nor to any achievement of mine. No matter who makes the claim, how large their number or how great their need.
