@fribbledom what's wrong with that?
I'm very much against fascism and I had no idea I'm a terrorist. That's what's wrong. 🤮
@gcrkrause
How is it stupid? I am against fascism. Who isn't? That's like being against murder. I think the image applies perfectly to said organization. Can you be against fascism without supporting a specific organization? Not according to said organization.
@fribbledom @jordan31
@mister_monster and please remember, there is no organization. there are just people behind an idea. if you want forbid the idea of antifascism, you are actually a fascist.
@gcrkrause well if there's no organization then there's nothing to worry about is there.
I don't believe in forbidding any ideas at all.
@mister_monster there is, because the US president stated in public he is against antifascism, which means he is pro fascism. something like this from a leader of one of the most powerful states these days could be considered quite dangerous.
@gcrkrause I don't want to try to defend the president, but he simply stated that an organization is a criminal organization. If being against an organization makes you a fascist you prove my point. If an organization doesn't exist then there's nothing to worry about.
@mister_monster as I already said, there is no organization. judge people for what they did, but stop this stupid "antifa is criminal" stuff
@mister_monster and everything just because some people demonstrate against racism... thats just insane
@mister_monster its like stopping giving kids food for months just because they were too loud. its highly inappropriate.
@gcrkrause
They delegitimize themselves with their tactics and clear authoritarian preferences.
And yes, people do say things like this, all the time. See the post I responded to with that image for an example.
@fribbledom @jordan31
@mister_monster jeah you can try to cuddly nazis down, good luck and happy crying because some cars burn.
@gcrkrause I've never seen a Nazi burn a city block in my lifetime, just saying. In fact, I doubt I've ever seen a Nazi in my life. If so they his their identity pretty well. If you want to fight Nazis, actual Nazis, try not burning black neighborhoods next time.
@mister_monster wtf do you have any evidence I burnt anything? thats insulting. since this gets toxic now, i end this here. have a good life.
@gcrkrause I'm not talking specifically about you man, I know you're nowhere near the US, using "you" in English is a figure of speech, like using you as an example for "anybody". I don't actually think you torched buildings.
@mister_monster anyway, here is a nazi city bluck burn down: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOVE#1985_bombing

@gcrkrause dude there's no reason to get angry. We are still friends (on the internet anyway). We just have a disagreement about something. It should happen all the time between people who talk about things.
That 1985 Philadelphia bombing is bad, no doubt. But I'd make some points: 1) it was 35 years ago 2) every major city in the US is currently experiencing social unrest, as opposed to one example in one city, 3) MOVE was a left wing organization.
@mister_monster yes, move was. and nazi cops bombed a city block, while you tell me it does not happen. should show you you are blind on the right eye.
i am not making friends with non antifascists, sorry dude
@gcrkrause lol you prove my point, I've already said once I'm opposed to fascism, but it is not enough. I must join the cult or be excommunicated. Alright dude, you have a nice life too.
@mister_monster @fribbledom @jordan31 its stupid because its imply someone would say something like this, which is obviously not true, trying to delegitimate any antifascist fight just because you may not agree with their instruments.
