the people in the fedora discord server can't figure out my linker issue either, I think this install has reached the end of its life
now the question is, what distro would I try next... fedora again? crux? or... void?????

@mister_monster I've always preferred fedora to manjaro, so if I went the route of an easy mainstream distro it'll likely be fedora
