@JapanAnon alright well FYI I do intend to phase out the download from YT and reupload to Peertube functionality (it is in an issue on the github) and just use Peertube HTTP mirror functionality, as well as an option to download the video for archival purposes from Peertube rather than YT. This will get rid of youtube-dl dependencies and simplify the code a lot. Would that mess with your utilization of the project at all?
