well at least now I know which federated reddit clone I *don't* want to host... if I'm going to run software on my hardware, I want to be able to control every aspect of it. I personally think a slur filter is unnecessary for myself and anyone who would use my instance.
@phoenix Unfortunately there is not another one that comes close to this, there's littr.me which is more like hackernews or lobste.rs, if you want a community oriented link aggregator the only option is to use Lemmy or fork it. It really is very well built.
@mistermonster wasn't there another one called prismo or something like that? I remember seeing it way before lemmy
