@Wetrix I honestly do believe this scenario. We know there is a high likelihood that there is life all over because we understand the chemistry, but there is no similar way to measure the likelihood of complexity or intelligence. Could be a trillion planets covered in bacteria, or trilobites, or algae or whatever. The likelihood we are alone as life is low, but the likelihood we are alone as intelligent life cannot be estimated at all, we simply don't know the statistics around any of it.
