I released Whalebird 2.8.0. In previous version, Whalebird delivers notifications for a account you have open. In this versio, Whalebird delivers notifications for all accounts you logged in.
But when you open preferences or Whalebird is closed in the tray, you can not get notifications. I will improve this part in the next release.

@h3poteto I am checking this client out now. I quite like it! The only thing I am missing is multipane like in the Mastodon advanced web UI. Any chance you'll be adding dual pane or similar functionality? I know it can be complex with deciding what opens in what pane, but being able to view multiple things at once (like notifications and timelines or home and local/federated timeline) would be very useful.
@mister_monster Now there is no plans to make Whalebird to multiple column. In the past, Web UI was multiple column by default, so I thought that client application don't have to provide multiple column.

I never really considered using a desktop client but I will check this out 🖥️😁
