This isn't the first issue I've seen with Spotify. I've moved my podcasts back to PocketCasts as a result. Still using Spotify for Music as, on Linux, I don't have many options. At least this is a start.

@chris @dhh yeah, I try to avoid vendor lock ins so I always use a third party podcast client.
