TPCs, originally created for the use of military air navigation, depict the types of data that would be useful for pilots, including topography, the locations of major cities, tranportation routes, and other ground features that would be visible from the air.

The rainy season lasts nearly all year in Bioko’s south; more than 400 inches of annual rainfall in some spots help a diverse garden grow.
