#Annobón (Portuguese: Ano Bom, renamed Pagalu from 1973 to 1979) is an volcanic island in the South Atlantic Ocean near the Equator and one of the eight provinces of Equatorial Guinea with the capital San Antonio de Palé. It occupies an area of 17 square km and rises with the Lago a Pot, Quioveo and Macizo Santa Mina to an elevation of 613 metres.
