@nikolal yes that’s the hard part. All are not worried or conscious about privacy at all.

@Tutanota You shouldn’t link to the movement. Privacy has nothing to do with a movement against racism.

@Tutanota I don't make a whole deal out of this. I don't really care.

But these words you are changing, have nothing to do with racism.

If I say the night is black. Am I racist? People associate the night with evil and bad. Is the black night now become racist?

@vancha bepaalde groeperingen inderdaad.

@vancha @Tutanota Hallo Vancha. Ja ik snap het ook niet helemaal. De Nacht is zwart. de Dag is licht... is dat nu ook niet meer goed?

Ik neem aan dat je mijn vertaal bijdrage bedoelt? Dat is leuk en ontspannend om te doen.

@Tutanota I just translated this for you guys to Dutch,... but I feel very weird about this... A blacklist and whitelist were not intended this way. But I guess it has come to this.

@supernova the Mac is my main man too ;-). I have nothing on my Mac. All data is on the Synology. I use resilio to get some data local on the Mac. But the main storage is the Synology. I have my timemachine backup on this Synology too. That data is replicated to any other drive here at home and to a storage provider. The timemachine backup are not replicated. They are just setting and apps.

@loweel @supernova I have not look in it to far, but I would get the “+” model with 5 disks I guess. Something like my DS1513+

@supernova yeah. Thought of that. Placing another Synology at my sisters house. I now backup data to a storage provider. But I have privacy concerns with that.

@supernova hi Supernova. I gave 2 docker instances at home. 1 on my Synology. And 1 on an Intel NuC. I play around letsencrypt at the moment. But also with Resilio, home bridge, 2 vpn servers and more of that stuff. Just came across watchtower for docker. Which is a delight to keep your images up-to-date

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I have an account here on privacytools.io on mastodon.

I can follow the local timeline.

But if I want to follow the local timeline on another instance, there is no other way to also create an account on that instance too, right?
