@marc0janssen I used it in the past before I discovered @protonmail (which is now my go-to). I hear good things about #Tutanota though. I don't follow their developments, but as far as I know they're still one of the best out there.
@marc0janssen Good to hear. I can't remember exactly when I first heard about @protonmail, but it didn't take long to build trust and I think they're doing a great job in every way. I'm also happy they've recently open sourced all their apps. I rely on using a VPN on at all times (mainly for privacy), and @protonvpn has been excellent as well.
@syntax @protonmail @protonvpn I use nordvpn for that purpose. I guess they deliver a great top.
I use a VPN on my macs. But seldom on my mobile device
@syntax Nordvpn is started on startup and you can pick a country from which nordvpn Selects the fastest node. Which basically means a different vpn on every startup.
@marc0janssen Not sure about Nord, but Proton has a useful 'always-on' feature as well as a kill switch. I think they're also planning on introducing an auto connect at boot feature, which would be great as I usually have to manually run an alias command from my Terminal every time I log in.
