@libre_shoes @win10ltsc Google will find a way to track you. One of biggest issues are hardware, there is no modern hi performance soc for example that is true open source. All blobs are closed source and precompiled in our phones.
@glitcher32 I have setup My own dns catching server that forwards dns from 5 OpeNIC servers. I selected servers based ping from My home pc and no log policy. I don't feel any difference from ISP DNS servers, 1.1.1.1 or Google. Maybe a bit slower on non catched entries.
@BurungHantu I like Chromium engine, but I use Firefox. Open source and I'm able to use sync whit self hosted sync server. If anyone know Chromium browser that can sync whit self hosted sync server let Me know.
@steven@todon.nl @jonah I agree to your ideology. In My opinion Write Freely makes sense as Mastodon is microblog and hosts short posts up to 500 (?) symbols. Some tutorials and/or longer opinions will need more than that for sure. Write Freely have great minimalist look and integrates well in Mastodon, why not?
