And yes I tested and it uses Google with ProtonVPN

Can't say I'm much of a champion, I use Telegram and I'll only delete Whatsap in May using the new policy as an excuse, but yes, facing several issues with Nextcloud office integration and listening to why my wife is going back to Google Docs can be disheartening.
But still, she supports all my decisions and uses Linux (with Chrome and Gmail, but a big win nevertheless).

I could not find any article comparing natural immunity and vaccine immunity, but a quick search landed me here:
thelancet.com/journals/lancet/

They say the vaccine is more efficient in a previously infected individual.

@scarletvampire
Economy and psychology are weird.
In my country many people think credit cards are for poor, and never get them. There are no credit scores, only credit history (actual info about your loans and how you paid them).
You can have no credit history and it doesn't mean anything.

:boost_ok: :ablobcatwave: Please boost this post if you would like the EFF to join the fediverse. :ablobcatbongo:

In a survey the EFF sent me, I suggested they create an account on the fediverse, so they can reach more supporters and support innovative free software that promotes interoperability among platforms, something they've advocated for in the past, too.

If you can boost this post, maybe I'll be able to show them that there are quite a few users who would like them here!

The EFF is the infamous nonprofit organisation that fights for privacy, government transparency, and digital freedom. Their fight is very important, and the EFF is very special to me. https://www.eff.org/about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_Frontier_Foundation

You can see some of their work here https://www.eff.org/work

In the meantime, you can follow @eff, which is an unofficial mirror of their Twitter.

Status is a toot. So the proposed feature is: you can embed someone else's toot into your toot, but only if your toot contains nothing more that a link to another toot.

Scripting

@Lindsaythelibrarian
That's what I would have done... if I was into taking pictures and sharing them.
Since I'm not, I just use a small app on my phone to strip metadata in those rare cases I need to send a pic.

I'm into a bit different kind of scripting - I like to set up my scripts to run 24\7 on a server.
I have one that works like a calendar, but it sends me my tasks for the day via email, other sends me my RSS subscriptions, and the last checks if some websites \ APIs are down.

Thats a tough question, not sure I can answer that. πŸ€”

@soudk
> Does everything FOSS play nicely with eachother?
Mostly yes. Small things:
Bitwarden app won't fill my passwords on Fenix browser on Android, I have to use a browser extension and the latter sometimes fights with an app for autofill. I have to look into it, but I'm lazy.
Default OnlyOffice setup is very unreliable in Nextcloud, so I plan to buy a server and move to Collabora setup (LibreOffice).

Calendar, Contacts are synced with my selfhosted Nextcloud

I use a custom domain with Protonmail, and I plan to move to Migadu since it's much cheaper to have unlimited aliases and mailboxes there.

And I got a totally different treatment. They would ask my opinion, took it for granted or asked me to check some data myself.

It's crazy then you think of it, this kind of discrimination happens in thousands of places every day, and so many people never notice it.
We definitely need to speak about it more often.

I worked in the same company with my wife for several years and it was such a big thing there, but I was totally oblivious until she spoke to me about it.
Anytime she had a opinion, colleagues (even female) would seek someone else to confirm. Her ideas would be implemented months after she proposed them, by another person, without mentioning her input.

Phones

@Lindsaythelibrarian
Just thought about having a flip phone as my next phone, but what about encrypted chats and calls?
I don't want police and carrier to tap into my private conversations.
I would probably just delete everything Google from Android with an adb (official debugging tool for Android).
There would still be some connections to Google (for time and little bit of DNS), but I'm fine with it.

@omgubuntu
Both. I would like to try to guess my mode, but having a toggle to override it.

@krock
Or maybe Mark will just link you guys as a family or coworkers and will use it to suggest friends :)

@krock
I think using uBlock Origin with Anti-Facebook filter enabled and only visiting facebook via Firefox's Facebook container will keep you safe from them following you around the net.

Btw, you can get some insights into that fingerprint issue here:

@Wetrix
In the end your friend may gain from it, too. Seeing people turn away makes you think about what you're doing wrong and sometimes take action to change your life.

@jonah
Hi! It seems I can't follow anyone from noagendasocial.com and I don't see it in the list of silenced or filtered servers. I get the "We're sorry, but something went wrong on our end" error. Could you please look into that when you have a moment?
