Anyone own an air fryer? Is it accurate to say that these things need to be fully disassembled in order to remove the heating element just to clean around it? Is it also accurate that they are not designed to be taken apart.. that people just throw them away when they get too dirty?

@resist1984 if you clean it after using it, it will last longer. But history shows that people are lazy and waste products.

@lnx It's not the consumer's fault. It's the maker's fault. They designed the heating element to be non-removable so cleaning under the heating element requires full disassembly of the whole machine. No one is disassembling these things after each use. The fan & the heating element should be designed for easy removal w/out taking anything else apart. I wonder if any models got that right

@resist1984 unfortunately all makers do this on purpose. I wish they made stuff so you can disassemble and fix yourself but the leaders of the world and its corporation are way to greedy.
