Apparently it's too old to handle the newer versions 😅

@Wetrix @lnx That's what I meant. I don't know if it's the hardware or just Apple deciding that older devices are not supported anymore. But the situation is worse on android

@TheDoctor @Wetrix apple is a business tho, they make sure that older models stop being supported. But then again, that's how operating systems work. The updates stop after a certain point. Of course Apple does sneaky business too so it's not a surprise.

@lnx @TheDoctor I'm not sure why they do it, maybe hardware limitations? They still support iPhone 6 and up.

@Wetrix @lnx Well if you buy a new iphone, you get updates for some 5 years as far as I know. It seems the best you can expect from android is maybe 3.

@TheDoctor @Wetrix well don't cover that companies do that in purpose so that you buy yourself a new phone. Unless your phone is rooted, you won't be able to update it. My next phone will probably be the pinephone running manjaro. I don't want to have boat in my phone or apps running that secretly send my phone data elsewhere like Facebook does.
