installed new ram on the desktop. it's a dual boot- gave windows a boot & it sees 80GB (original 16 + 64GB) but "System" says only 40GB usable of that (original 16 + 32GB?).
welp. maybe a bios issue, possibly. found a youtube that says you can go into boot configuration & tell it to use more. i guess i should try the linux boot first. and a bios upgrade- there probably is one available.

@jauntywunderkind420 I recommend you to boot into Linux and check if the pc is reading the disks or not. It do a better job of reading it than windows, plus there tools to fix disks. Hope it works out.
