So, exactly that happens when politicians and/or managers take their hands on basically anything, what's serving people's needs but not feeding their interests! It's the core function of capitalism. In this context Surveillance Capitalism, as defined by Shoshana Zuboff. So sad to see this happening globally. Keep on resisting, Fediverse!
