I'm slowly getting a grip on our IT expenditures again. For a while we were in survival mode and just threw anything we couldn't readily fix at an external Linux engineer. Those bills are now coming in.

I think that I can safely say that our #selfhosted #FOSS adventure has been A LOT more expensive than if we had chosen proprietary cloud software such as Office 365 / Gsuite.

Going fully FOSS still has a major cost and knowledge barrier.
