Apple and NPR

The news coverage that NPR has given about Apple (one of its main sponsors) has been biased at best. I have heard them lauding the new iPhone image search tool and strategy, while downplaying the outcry over its privacy and security risks. They even said something like: users can easily opt out (um, they can?) and who would or could even use such a helpful technology as a backdoor for nefarious purposes (are you kidding me?). Just shows how Big Tech can influence public radio too.

NPR is also funded by Google, Facebook, and Amazon thanks to the us gov defunding it a long time ago. It is sadly no longer a public service.
