• Victor Lustig, the fraudster who “sold” the Eiffel Tower, listed “being a patient listener” as the first commandment of con men.

Let's not be surprised if people who are in distress shun the doctors and turn to quacks.

Z bólem serca, ale popieram to, o czym pisze @kravietz@social.privacytools.io. Ceteris paribus OZE nas nie ratuje, ponieważ cała struktur cywilizacji przemysłowej jest zbudowana dookoła paliw o dużej gęstości energii. Zmiana całego założenia cywilizacyjnego na niską gęstość i niskie EROI to są dekady jak nie stulecia -- i koszt (energetyczny) transformacji na dodatek do utrzymywania stanu obecnego.
Dlatego jednak atom i wodór są głównymi opcjami, pozwalającymi na to, żeby to była transformacja, a nie mało kontrolowany kolaps.

Z powodu ogólnej dezinformacji nie wiemy, czy nawet najlepsze wykorzystanie dostępnego mixu da nam możność transformacji do cywilizacji "ekotechnicznej" [J. M. Greer]. Może nas łupnąć załamanie biosfery w efekcie któregoś  z "czarnych łabędzi" klimatyczno-planetarnych albo po prostu ktoś z globalnych aktorów politycznych postanowi wyłamać się ze współpracy. Albo coś jeszcze.

Moja odpowiedź to oddolna reorganizacja i budowa rezyliencji na poziomach lokalno-regionalnych. Też niczego nie gwarantuje, ale przynajmniej jest w zasięgu naszych możliwości.

All of this circus with #Hamas is happening while #Belarus regime published a video of beaten bloger Protasevich where he is saying that he is fine and nobody is beating him up and he cooperates with investigation. The whole story with the plane was to capture him. #repressions
