Because they provide an useful and needed service for the community. As such, they should be in the first place supported rather than shamed & blamed. As they themselves live from donations, the latter can only drive people away from them, and we will again end up with PayPal & friends as the only alternative.

I don't think the journalist lied intentionally. The idea of "thousands killed in Fukushima" has been repeatedly and intentionally spread in connection with nuclear power by Greens for ages.

China's first Hualong One (HPR1000) #nuclear reactor was connected to the Chinese grid on January 30th.

Another five HPR1000s are scheduled to enter service by next year, making for 4 total in China and 2 in Pakistan.

As China's first self-developed Gen III reactor design, it is targeted not only at the domestic market, but also at the export.
