youtube-dl --write-sub --sub-lang en --skip-download URL

Where "URL" is the link

This skips the downloading of the video and just gets the English subtitles

Or if you want the auto-generated subtitles:
youtube-dl --write-auto-sub --sub-lang en --skip-download URL

German is "de", Japanese is "jp" and so on...

VLC should be able to play your video with the downloaded subs

I love my #pine64 Pinebook Pro but there's one piece of totally brainless design that drives me crazy:

THE POWER BUTTON

It's placed next to Backspace and I'm accidentally hitting it like 2-3x per week, which results in unintended power off.

The word is logind.conf(5) setting might help, will wait till the next unintended shutdown to test:

@dump_stack That's why he mentions Hanlon's razor at the end of article, but most programmers would introduce bugs while desperately struggling to implement a working crypto algorithm like DH rather than add some extra obscure "improvements". Which is what makes this one suspicious.

Yeah, I also wondered about the PitM when first saw the article summary :) As for the attack details, as I understand it that's the very point of the backdoor/bug - you establish a classic MitM where you're proxying the connection between the Telegram server and the victim so this happens *before* shared secret is even established.

After deploying #ipfs to host my websites I'm now playing with #gnunet and I must admit I'm quite impressed how mature and feature-rich the system is. It's certainly a superset of the services IPFS or DAT protocols have to offer.
