Scientifically this is utter bullshit either. Everyone in Europe, Western or whatever else, is quite a mix of ethnicities, as seen in DNA testing. Especially in Europe, which had thousands of people moving there and back over centuries and, naturally exchanging genetic material all the time. You can speak of a dominant haplogroups in case of most people in Europe, but any concept of "racial purity" is no different from "pure proletarians" in Marxist utopia I'm afraid.

Gemini Browser AV-98 is the fourth or fifth one I've tried. Very nice command line browser.

You can browse the pages inside AV-98 using the standard less command.

git clone tildegit.org/solderpunk/AV-98.

Has support for creating certificates.

Appears to be about 1500 lines of Python code.

Today is Vim's birthday!

It's been 29 years since Bram Moolenaar gave Vim it's first public release in 1991, November 2nd. After 8 major releases and a 9th in consideration, Vim has come a long way.

Take a chance to show your appreciation for the greatest text editor of all time!

Another nail to the coffin of those who claim NAT is a security control 😉

All the more reason to use JavaScript blockers when possible as the attack uses it.

"[S]ecurity researcher Samy Kamkar published details of a spooky firewall-busting technique he calls NAT Slipstreaming. It allows a remote attacker to punch through gateway and browser defenses to access services running on computers within a network, depending on the victim's configuration."

To #Google users: you can lose all your Google accounts if Google decides so. There won't be any trial, and no option for appeal.

That's privately-held fascism in some way.

I have been saying for a while that we conscious #internet users or techies should be first to adopt, and eager to promote within our personal and professional circles, ethical open frameworks to support #web services and apps via micro-payments (instead of via advertising and surveillance). We already had #Brave. Now we also have #Coil. These are steps in the right direction (although I don't like those all-or-nothing memberships, kind of walled gardens of their own — I would prefer truly open, federated systems).

Your cat's not sick because it's allergic to gluten, Patricia; your cat's sick because it's not a fucking vegan.

@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat

100% agree personally but to be honest I don't see any practical use for BTC, ETH etc in real world usages. The only kind of economic activity that can tolerate their incredible volatility and thus potential to lose tens of percents of transaction as a matter of seconds is money laundering 😂

Tears of joy in my eyes, one of very few modern and apparently energy efficient houses I've seen in the UK over the last decade 😁👍

EU is really hundreds of legislative and executive bodies rather than a single body, so such internal disparities are actually very common. All of them need to be constantly updated and informed from outside to make sure they learn about each other's achievements ;)

EU Digital Strategy 2020 ec.europa.eu/digital-single-ma

Objectives listed there are basically 100% what fediverse is about:

* Technology that works for people
* A fair and competitive digital economy
* An open, democratic and sustainable digital society
* Europe as a global digital player

@echo_pbreyer

Don't ask questions - like "did EC consider..." because it's easy to dismiss :) Just write "EC should support fediverse" as it's a grassroots movement with strong bonds to EU market, EU digital sovereignty, developed by EU businesses and breaking monopoly of US tech companies.

I'm sure we can actually find a number of directives which can be quoted directly as a base for such support.
